A Flying Butterfly
YB Band (Yoon Do Hyun Band), acknowledged as the most popular rock musicians in Korea, is introduced to me by my friend Chong who works in the Chinese buffet restaurant. Had been in love with his rock and roll music lately. This song "A Flying Butterfly" is one of my favourite which has very encouraging meaning of pursuing dreams. Even before I found out the english lyrics, I can feel the positiveness within it.
Looking down this dark faceless road
A larva I`m all alone
Crawling praying to be something new
Breaking through my scars to survive
A pupa I sleep alone
Resting waiting for my wounds to heal
Snowy winter covers the night
But I hold on to dreams inside
When the spring breeze opens the light
Then you`ll Know it`s my time to rise
and fly Spread my wings and fly away
Ride the wind sailing on the world today
Sing a song reach for the sky
Flying butterfly God save me
Fly to flowers searching for love
Away from the spider`s web
Fly to flowers searching for love
Away from the mantis clutch
Fly with me today forever truly
Spread my wings and fly away
Ride the wind sailing on the world today
Sing a song reach for the sky
Flying butterfly God save me
Spread my wings and fly away
Ride the wind sailing on the world today
Sing a song reach for the sky
Flying butterfly God save me
Spread my wings and fly away
Spread my wings and fly away
away away
fly away
Sing a song reach for the sky
Sing a song reach for the sky sky

California - Mindy Gledhill
Have you been to California
Seen the sights and people there
Walked the streets of sleepy sea towns
Tasted salty ocean air
Once I flew to New York City
Took my picture in Time Square
Soho nights and Broadway lights
Such a pity you weren’t there
Pack your bags and lock your door
I’ll take you places you’ve not been before
All I’ve ever wished to do is
Travel through this life with you
Make your way to London, England
Paris, France is also nice
Ooh la la, when people say hello
They kiss your cheeks three times
Chorus
Monte Carlo is awaiting
Bombay intoxicating
The sky in Bora Bora is
The color of your eyes
Chorus

Featured person of the day: Vishen Lakhiani
Creating one of the world’s top online publishing companies was the last thing on Vishen Lakhiani’s mind. At the time he was an up-and-coming meditation instructor and computer engineer in New York, looking for a way to get people into his classes.
He knew posting flyers on sidewalks and approaching individuals would only get him so far. He wanted an efficient solution. Something that would work on autopilot, and reach out to large groups of interested people for him.
It didn’t take Vishen long to realize that solution was the Internet. So using his background in computer engineering, he decided to learn the ins and outs of e-commerce, an industry that was slowly booming in 2002 with new advertising platforms like Google AdWords entering the market.
Vishen started off by sending his advertising traffic to free online meditation courses. The idea was to get people to read them, and get them hooked on attending his classes. The response to this course was, in Vishen’s own words, insane.
Within a short time, these online courses had been downloaded by over 800,000 people. These people served as Vishen’s first database of potential customers–and after spending 5 years optimizing the process of converting leads into buyers, he went on to earn over $10 million in sales in meditation products alone.
The news soon spread like wildfire, and other authors began approaching Vishen. To cope with the demand, in January 2003 he founded Mindvalley. And we’d like to think we’ve come a pretty long way since then.
